will meet at the Parish Hall at 6:30 am and travel together in
the parish van for some great fellowship and spiritual re-invigoration. Giving up an entire Saturday and traveling a
long way is a big sacrifice for Lent.
Being tough men, we're up to it and the Lord will reward us. Women, encourage your men to go. Certainly, you want them to become true men

talk about the art of being Catholics and show that prayer works; prayer has

To Be Used After the Conference is Over
Thanks to the 19 men from our parish who attended the Diocesan Men’s
Day of Renewal. It was our best
turnout yet and also a much younger group, including two altar boys still in
elementary school. All liked the
Conference. Some of the men made heroic
efforts…….one exhausted from quimo, another who had difficulty getting in and
out of the van, claiming to be “so old that he doesn’t buy green bananas
anymore”. Thanks to the women who
encouraged them; thanks to our pastor for his support; and thanks to our
secretary too. Thanks to all for your
prayers and for your patience with me. About
220 men attended from all over the diocese.
May we have an even better turnout next year on Saturday March 18. May both the diocesan Men’s Conference and the
Women’s Conference becomes Lenten traditions in our parish.
