First
Announcement
The Diocese is
sponsoring a Men's Conference on Saturday March 10 at St. John's
Church in Bellaire. I strongly recommend that every man in the
parish takes advantage of the dynamic Coach Danny Abramowicz, a
native of our diocese, former all-pro wide receiver and offensive
coordinator for the New Orleans Saints. He fell into the fast life
and alcoholism before undergoing a conversion. Now he is devoting
the rest of his life to help men get into good spiritual shape and
become true men of God through talks around the country, his book,
and his program “Crossing the Goal” on EWTN tv and ewtn.com.
See the wisdom of Church teaching on the role of the man of God as a
spiritual leader in the home, the parish, and the community. You
will return spiritually refreshed and reinvigorated after a day of
enjoyable fellowship as the men travel together in the parish van.
See your parish representative e.g., Paul Sebastian to register.
Please pray for a fruitful and well attended Conference.
Final
Announcement Before the Conference
The Men's Conference is this coming
Saturday March 10 at St. John's Church in Bellaire. The men will meet
at the Parish Hall at 5:30 am and travel together like a pilgrimage
in the parish van for some great fellowship and spiritual
re-invigoration, a great sacrifice for Lent.
The theme is
“Faithfulness to God” upon which Danny Abramowicz is basing his
talk as he applies his experience as an all pro wide receiver and
pro coach to the very serious game of life where the prize is eternal
salvation and the Lord tells you, "Well done good and faithful servant. You may register at the door, but calling your parish
representative e.g., Paul Sebastian as soon as you can
would make planning so much easier and save time at the door. Please pray for a fruitful and
well attended Conference.

St. Joseph, model of a
true man of God, pray for us and for the success of the Men's
Conference.
