The primary purpose of
this blog site is to provide resources for promoting the Diocesan
Men's Day of Renewal of the Catholic Diocese of Steubenville, Ohio.
After the date of the Men's Conference until the end of the year, we
will post articles that will help the men to get into better
spiritual shape.
The Diocese of
Steubenville does not necessarily endorse any post, not does it
accept responsibility for anything appearing on this blog. Paul
Sebastian, a member of the Steering Committee of the Men's Day of
Renewal and under its control, does the posting.
He has asked Steve Ishmael,
the Chair, Fr. Tim Shannon, and the other members of the Steering Committee to
occasionally monitor the content to assure that nothing contradicts
the Magisterium of the Catholic Church and does not violate any
diocesan policy. In that case, Sebastian will edit his own
submission or delete the blog in question. The Diocese of
Steubenville has the right to appoint another person to monitor the blogs and also has the right to withdraw the link to http://diosteubmen.blogspot.com on its
website, www.diosteub.org if
our articles ever become a problem.
Articles on this blog
may recommend posts from the personal blog of Paul Sebastian
(http://paulrsebastianphd.blogspot.com)
and other links that may be helpful to the men. This is done in good
faith. However, it is inevitable that more liberal or more
conservative readers may not agree with some of the content.
Submissions for
Posting. Readers, especially priests of the diocese, are invited
to submit comments and articles for possible posting that may be
helpful to the men. The opinions expressed in articles accepted
according to the above criteria are strictly those of the author and
will not be edited. In that way, we can have a healthy forum in good
taste as for example, the articles and letters to the editor columns
of such newspapers as Our Sunday Visitor and the National Catholic
Register.
Hopefully, this blog
will help the men in their ongoing spiritual formation as they aspire
to become true men of God, more effective spiritual leaders in their
families and in their parishes, and better Christian witnesses as
they put Christ and His principles into the work place and into the
Community.
The
following updated resources plus articles
that we submit for publication will be posted during each promotional

Conference:
